What is Asado?
You may already have heard of asado or parrilla which are Argentinian methods to barbecue meat. Al asador is where the meat is prepared over a fire-pit while la parrilla is where the meat is charcoal grilled. Asado is the essence of Argentinian culture and no trip to Argentina is complete without trying asado grilled meat. Usually, beef and sausages are asado staples, while other meats such as chicken and lamb can be added to the grill.
