What is Churrasco?
Churrasco is a Spanish and Portuguese term referring to barbequed meat. No visit to Rio de Janeiro is complete without a true churrascaria (traditional barbecue restaurant) experience, which usually offers char-grilled, all-you-can-eat meat. At a churrascaria waiters walk around the restaurant with the skewers, slicing meat onto the client’s plate. A variety of meats are served such as beef, pork, sausage, lamb, chicken, and chicken hearts.
