What is Yatsuhashi?
Yatsuhashi is a Japanese confectionery which is made from glutinous rice flour, sugar, and cinnamon. It is the most popular traditional Japanese sweet from Kyoto. The raw and unbaked version is called Nama yatsuhashi and has a soft, mochi-like texture and is usually filled with red bean paste.
