What is Luqaimat?

Luqaimat is a puffy sweet fried dumpling dipped in honey or syrup. It is made of flour, corn flour, yeast, sugar and water. This Emirati delicacy is a common Ramadan dish. The English translation of luqaimat is “small bites”, which attests to their bite-size form.
