What is Qahwa or Gahwa?
Qahwa is Arabic coffee made from Arabica coffee beans that are indigenous to the Southwestern highlands of Ethiopia. A true symbol of Emirati hospitality, Qahwa is poured from a traditional Arabic coffee pot called a dallah and served in small cups without handles. Variations of Qahwa include mixing spices such as ground cardamom and saffron with the coffee beans.
